Dismissed cop held in Rajasthan, court sent on 4-day police custody<\/p>\n

Ferozepur, September 24, 2022:\u00a0 The dismissed cop Parminder Singh Bajwa, escapee in two months back fake drug recovery case, arrested by Rajasthan Police, have been sent in police custody for 4-day by the court.<\/p>\n

Bajwa had been absconding since he was dismissed along with two other cops two months ago. He was charged for implicating two youths in a fake drug case and exhorting Rs.81 lakh from them.\u00a0 Since then the police was looking for him and he was spotted at Goa and later on moving from Goa to Pune and might enter Rajasthan.<\/p>\n

As per the sources, Bajwa had totally changed his outlook and even shaved his head to dodge the police.<\/p>\n

Today, he was produced in the court and the court has given 4-day police remand.<\/p>\n

Now the court has given 4-day police custody, in-depth investigation will be conducted to bring on surface the more facts about the case, said police official.<\/p>\n

Initially, a case was \u00a0registered by Rajpal Singh, ASI \u2013 who later on has also been implicated and booked in this case – \u00a0under No.0088\u00a0 on July 20, 2022 at Cantt police station against Kanwaljit Singh of Jamalpur Police Commissionerate Ludhiana and Gautam Parik.\u00a0 It is alleged that they are involved in heroin smuggling and booked under NDPS Act.<\/p>\n

Another case under NDPS Act was registered under Ho.90 on July 25, 2020 on the complaint of Bhanwar Lal Parik son of Mala Ram Parik resident of Bikaner (Rajasthan) against Inspector Parminder Singh Bajwa, Angrez Singh, SI and Hav Joginder Singh of Narcotic Control Cell Ferozepur along with 4-5 unidentified persons.<\/p>\n

The dismissed Police Personnel – Inspector Parminder Singh Bajwa, ASI Angrej Singh, and Head Constable Joginder Singh, a trio posted at Narcotic Control Cell in Ferozepur \u2013 were terminated for falsely implicating 2 persons in drug case and extorting huge sum of money. However, Inspector Parminder Singh Bajwa along with two accomplice cops planted 1 kg heroin and showed recovery of Rs.5 lakhs from two persons and also extorted money from them against the payment of Rs.86 lakhs. Inspector Bajwa is yet to be arrested by the police.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
