Ferozepur, July 20, 2022:\u00a0 A memorandum was submitted by Anti-crime Anti-Narcotic (India) Wing, Ferozepur to ADRM in absence of DRM to preserve the old DRM office heritage building in to Railway Museum.<\/p>\n

Earlier also, various local NGOs have raised the issue to convert old railway heritage building into Railway Museurm.<\/p>\n

The memorandum was submitted to Balbir Singh, ADRM.\u00a0 as DRM was not available.\u00a0 ADRM said, the issue is already in the knowledge of DRM Dr.Seema Sharma. It’s only the Railway Board who can take any decision, with regard to utilization of any land of the railways with special focus on the return of revenue. To convert the existing old DRM office building, lot of work has to be done on the gap between the concept and implementation.<\/p>\n

I will apprise the DRM, about the memorandum from the local NGOs to convert the old DRM office into Railway Museum,\u00a0on her return from Delhi, he added.<\/p>\n
