Ferozepur: Dead body of woman in bed now being investigated as homicide<\/p>\n

Ferozepur, June 16, 2022:\u00a0 A shocking incident has taken place in Chattiw Gail of Ferozepur.\u00a0 A decomposing dead body of 70 years old woman, identified as Veena,\u00a0 has been found in the bed, hidden under a pile of clothes, and is now being investigated as a homicide.<\/p>\n

Prima facie, it looked to be a case of murder, and her body was dumped in a bed in her own home.\u00a0 The residents of the area came to know only about getting a foul smell from the house. Intimation to the police was given and further investigations are on.<\/p>\n

G.S.Sangha, SP informed that on getting the information, the body has been sent for post-mortem, The lady was residing alone for the last one month.\u00a0 Earlier, she was living with her son was now posted at Delhi, who has also been informed. There are three tenants in the house, and her room was locked since Monday.\u00a0\u00a0 However, further action will be taken after recording the statements and post-mortem of the body.<\/p>\n
