Ferozepur\u00a0police probe into\u00a0Karnal<\/span>\u00a0terror suspect case reveals more recovery from\u00a0Akashdeep<\/span><\/p>\n Ferozepur<\/span>, May 11, 2022:\u00a0\u00a0Following the arrest of four persons for terror links, including three from the border district, from\u00a0Haryana\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0Karnal<\/span>\u00a0a few days back, the security agencies and local police are very excited to bring more facts to the surface.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0Ferozepur<\/span>\u00a0police probe into the\u00a0Karnal<\/span>\u00a0terror suspect case has revealed more recoveries today from\u00a0Akashdeep<\/span>\u00a0Singh, arrested by\u00a0Ferozepur<\/span>\u00a0Police, during the interrogation on police remand, in the\u00a0Karnal<\/span>\u00a0suspects\u2019 case.<\/p>\n As a follow-up of the\u00a0Karnal<\/span>\u00a0Terror suspect case, two more persons, identified as\u00a0Akashdeep<\/span>\u00a0Singh and\u00a0Jashanpreet<\/span>\u00a0were arrested by\u00a0Ferozepur<\/span>\u00a0police, with a Scorpio car.\u00a0\u00a0Akashdeep<\/span>\u00a0during interrogation has revealed that drones used to drop arms in the fields belonging to his maternal grandmother\u00a0Sarwan<\/span>\u00a0Kaur<\/span>\u00a0at\u00a0Muthianwali<\/span>\u00a0village near\u00a0Arifke<\/span>\u00a0along the Pakistan border. For this, they used to send the location to Pakistan-based terrorist\u00a0Harwinder<\/span>\u00a0Singh\u00a0Rida<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0Babbar<\/span>\u00a0Khalsa<\/span>\u00a0International.<\/p>\n It is pertinent to mention that the land along with the international border is considered as most costly that the gold mines and that is why the gangster has shaken hand with\u00a0Akash<\/span>, who worked as a courier, because of his maternal mother’s land along the international border.<\/p>\n Charanjit<\/span>\u00a0Singh, SSP\u00a0Ferozepur<\/span>\u00a0during a press meet said, during further interrogation of\u00a0Akashdeep<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0Ferozepur<\/span>, the recovery of 2 pistols 9 mm, 78 live cartridges of 9 mm, and one laptop Lenovo, has been made from the designated place in village\u00a0Dula<\/span>\u00a0Singh\u00a0Wala<\/span>.<\/p>\n SSP further said that a case on recovery of one grenade P-86 was found near village\u00a0Sekhwan<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0Zira<\/span>\u00a0block on the roadside and a case under Section 3, 4 of Explosive Act was registered at\u00a0Zira<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0During the trace, it has been revealed that the grenade was placed by\u00a0Akashdeep<\/span>\u00a0alias\u00a0Akash<\/span>\u00a0along with his accomplice\u00a0Gurpreet<\/span>\u00a0Singh alias\u00a0Gopi<\/span>\u00a0of village\u00a0Vinjo<\/span>\u00a0Ke, on directions from Pakistan based terror\u00a0Harinder<\/span>\u00a0Singh alias\u00a0Rinda<\/span>, which was to be lifted by an unidentified person as per his orders.\u00a0\u00a0However, the same was recovered well in advance.<\/p>\n The accused will again be produced in the court for getting police remand for further investigation, said SSP.<\/p>\n Earlier, four terror suspects identified as\u00a0Gurpreet<\/span>,\u00a0Amandeep<\/span>,\u00a0Parminder<\/span>, and\u00a0Bhupinder<\/span>\u00a0were arrested by the\u00a0Karnal<\/span>\u00a0police with recovery of three\u00a0IEDs<\/span>, a country-made pistol, and 31 live cartridges, 1.31 lakh cash, and 6 mobile phones recovered from them. They got explosives from Pakistan through drones and were tasked with carrying them to\u00a0Adilabad<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0Telangana<\/span>.<\/p>\n Among the arrested accused\u00a0Bhupinder<\/span>\u00a0Singh is from Ludhiana and the other three\u00a0Gurpreet<\/span>\u00a0Singh,\u00a0Parminder<\/span>\u00a0Singh, and\u00a0Amandeep<\/span>\u00a0Singh are from\u00a0Ferozepur<\/span>\u00a0and were headed to\u00a0Adilabad<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0Telangana<\/span>\u00a0to deliver a consignment of explosives. They were booked under FIR No.0141\/5.5.2015 under Section 13 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967, Section 18 and 20 of Unlawful Activities Amendment Orders Act 04, Sector 4 and 5 of Explosives Substances Act, 1908, and 25 of Arms Act, 1959.<\/p>\n Earlier BSF had brought down a drone near\u00a0Thatha<\/span>\u00a0Jaimal<\/span>\u00a0Singh BOP in the district and 21 kg of heroin was recovered.\u00a0\u00a0In November last year, the police had recovered a tiffin bomb in the fields at\u00a0Alik<\/span>\u00a0Ke village also and the recovery was linked to the\u00a0Jalalabad<\/span>\u00a0blast on Sept. 15, 2021, and later three suspects were arrested.
