Private schools detain roll numbers for Board exams, in protest FPWS members blocked traffic<\/p>\n

Ferozepur, April 26, 2022:\u00a0 The Ferozepur Parents Welfare Society blocked traffic outside the HMDAV school and Udham Singh Chowk, for about three and a half hour, \u00a0accusing the private schools for detaining the roll numbers of students for Board exams.<\/p>\n

Despite having a meeting with the district administration and private school managements, the schools are demanding annual fee charges and detained the roll numbers for Board exams. \u00a0Apart from this, the TC \u2013 Transfer Certificates are not being issued for the students who have already left the school.<\/p>\n

With the result, the other schools are not accepting the new admission without the TC and cannot sit in the exams without the roll numbers.<\/p>\n

The FPWS members alleged that even the school managements have misbehaved with the members of the society.<\/p>\n

With the intervention of DSP, the issue was resolved to arrange meeting with the SDM and dharna was lifted.<\/p>\n
