Ferozepur<\/span>, April 19, 2022:\u00a0 In a special operation\u00a0against an anti-social\u00a0elements,\u00a0Ferozepur<\/span>\u00a0police arrested as many as 9 people with criminal links, on Tuesday and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.<\/p>\n

Divulging with details,\u00a0Charanjit<\/span>\u00a0Singh\u00a0Sohal<\/span>, SSP\u00a0Ferozepur<\/span>\u00a0said, In all, 9 persons have been arrested \u2013 5 of looters\u2019 gang, 2 bike lifters, and two battery thefts.\u00a0 The accused have been identified as\u00a0Sandeep<\/span>\u00a0urf\u00a0Billa<\/span>,\u00a0Sagar<\/span>,\u00a0Vishal<\/span>,\u00a0Shinda<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0Khilchian<\/span>\u00a0Jadid<\/span>, and\u00a0Gurdip<\/span>\u00a0Singh urf Kali of\u00a0Jama<\/span>\u00a0Rakhia<\/span>\u00a0Uttar<\/span>,\u00a0Mamdot<\/span>. However, as per preliminary investigations,\u00a0Sandeep<\/span>\u00a0has involved 7 criminal cases of drugs under the\u00a0NDPS<\/span>\u00a0Act at\u00a0Sadar<\/span>\u00a0and City police stations,\u00a0Gurdeep<\/span>\u00a0Singh is also involved in 6 cases under\u00a0NDPS<\/span>\u00a0Act at\u00a0Mamdot<\/span>,\u00a0Jalalabad<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Mohali<\/span>, and\u00a0Sagar<\/span>\u00a0in one\u00a0NDPS<\/span>\u00a0case at\u00a0Sagharia<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0Hanumangarh<\/span>\u00a0District.<\/p>\n
