This time ,he has been awarded DGP Disc award by Mr. Dinkar Gupta Director General of Police (DGP), Punjab Police.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Des Raj, who rose to the rank of Superintendent Police (SP), after he\u00a0 got himself recruited as constable in 1982, has already been bestowed upon with President Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2010 for<br \/>\nhis devotion towards his duty and commendable work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Des Raj, who stood all round first in his training batch and\u00a0 cleared his all the departmental exams from time to time, got promotion to the rank of Superintendent of Police in 2013, was given DGP Disc Award in<br \/>\nthe year 2014 and 2015 for his\u00a0 good works on all front, undisputed integrity, honesty, diligence and outstanding policing achievements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Des Raj Kamboj, who is presently servinjg as Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Counter Intelligence (CI) Bathinda with additional charge AIG (Intelligence), Ferozepore, has managed to put his name in the list of those Punjab police functionaries, who have managed to make such rare achievements.
