Petrol, diesel price hike: AAP blames Narendra Modi government, says people are feeling cheated<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ferozepur, July 19, 2021:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong> The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday hit out at the BJP-led central government for the price hike in petrol and diesel, by tagging the car with the bullock cart, saying it adversely affected the livelihood of the common man.<\/p>\n

Later, the AAP leaders protested in front of the DC office and submitted a memorandum to the DC Ferozepur in the name of PM Modi.<\/p>\n

Kanwaljeet Singh District President, Kissan Wing, AAP\u00a0 said, the people of the country felt \u2018cheated\u00a0 by the Narendra Modi government in the wake of the increased prices of petrol and diesel. \u00a0In the recent past, the petrol and diesel prices have been increased 35 times.<\/p>\n

The prices of petrol on Monday stood at Rs.103.00\u00a0 per litre in Ferozepur while the price of diesel touched a high of Rs.92\u00a0 per litre, said<\/p>\n

“The Modi government is responsible for the inflation all around. From fruits and vegetables to petrol and diesel \u2014 everything is severely affected by the daily price hikes,” he added.<\/p>\n

Despite a fall in the price of crude oil in the international market, the fuel prices were going up in the country, because the BJP government had increased the excise duty and taxes on petroleum products, alleged the AAP leaders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
