Border town 4\u00a0 students of SBS State University and Govt Polytechnic College elected by Japan based industry<\/p>\n
Ferozepur, May 17, 2021:\u00a0 Four students of border town Ferozepur \u2013 two each from SBS State University Poly Wing and Govt Polytechnic College \u2013 have been selected during online placement drive by Daikin India \u2013 a world\u2019s leading multinational air conditioning Manufacturer Company.<\/p>\n
The process of\u00a0online placement drive\u00a0comprising of three phases started\u00a0 during the\u00a0first week of\u00a0May, 2021.\u00a0Out of 58 students who were found eligible as per company\u2019s criteria, 32 have\u00a0cleared online test. These 32 students have further been called to\u00a0appear in online rounds of Technical and HR interviews. Finally,\u00a004 students from\u00a0Diploma\u00a0are\u00a0selected;\u00a001\u00a0of\u00a0Mechanical Engg\u00a0and 03\u00a0of Electrical Engg stream.\u00a0Among the selected students\u00a0Nitish\u00a0Singh\u00a0belongs to\u00a0Mechanical Engg., while Rohit\u00a0Raj, Shubhash\u00a0Kumar and\u00a0Saurav\u00a0Yadav\u00a0are of Electrical Engg\u00a0stream.\u00a0Nitish\u00a0Singh, Rohit Raj and Shubhash are students of SBS\u00a0State University\u00a0whereas Saurav\u00a0Yadavbelongs to GPC, Ferozepur<\/p>\n
Prof.\u00a0Buta\u00a0Singh Sidhu Vice-Chancellor SBSSU\u00a0said that the company selected the candidates after rigorous rounds. The company\u00a0has\u00a0offered\u00a0package @\u00a0Rs.1.87\u00a0lac per annum to the selected students.<\/p>\n

Mr. Sujan San\u00a0and Ms. Rakshita\u00a0(HR-Daikin India)\u00a0have coordinated all the process of\u00a0online placement drive\u00a0comprising of three phases started\u00a0w.e.f.\u00a0first week of\u00a0May, 2021.\u00a0Firstly, the students were scrutinized on the basis of eligibility criteria, then online Technical Tests of different branches were conducted.\u00a0Out of 58 students who were found eligible as per company\u2019s criteria, 32 have\u00a0cleared online test.
