SC Commission members visit firing victim\u2019s family, ask report by May 19<\/p>\n

Ferozepur<\/span>, May 11, 2021:\u00a0 Members of Scheduled Caste Commission\u00a0 Punjab, Raj Kumar Hans and Deepak Verka<\/span>, on Tuesday visited victim\u2019s family at village Khilchi<\/span> Jadid<\/span> where a few days back seven members of family were injured in a family in firing.\u00a0 Tehsildr<\/span> Lakhwinder<\/span> Singh and Barinder<\/span> Singh Gill DSP, Kulwinder<\/span> SHO were also present on this occasion.<\/p>\n

Divulging with details, Raj Kumar Hans said, few days back, Mohinder<\/span> Singh alias Kala<\/span> of village Khilchi<\/span> Jadid<\/span> had made an complaint to SC Commission that they are not getting justice in the case.\u00a0 Taking a serious note of it, Commission constituted two-member committee to look into the matter.<\/p>\n

After getting the detailed report, the police administration was directed to take action as per the rules at the earliest and report back to the Commission by May 19.<\/p>\n

Later, the Commission members lso visited Guru Gobind<\/span> Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot<\/span> to enquire<\/span> about the condition of the victim\u2019s family members.<\/p>\n
