Rifle Association organizes 2-days\u2019 Rifle and Pistol Championship<\/p>\n<p>Ferozepur, January 23, 2021:\u00a0 Two days\u2019 Rifle Championship was organized by District Rife Association in the district at Boparai Shooting Range \u2013BSR.<\/p>\n<p>BSR, situated on the outskirts of village Khane Ke Ahal, was inaugurated by Padam Bhushan \u00a0S.S.Bedi, the then Commissioner of Jalandhar Division on January 28, 1974.\u00a0 It has produced shooting icons of national and international repute like Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi MLA from Guruharsahai, Ronjan Sodhi, Birendeep, Malwinder Sodhi, Gurbir Sandhu and Punital Singh.<\/p>\n<p>Divulging with details, Guru Hardeep Singh Sodhi, President and Malwinder Singh Sodhi, General Secretary said, on the first day Air Rifle and Air Pistol championship was at Vivekanand World School.\u00a0 On the second day, the Rifle and Pistol Championship was held at the Boparai Shooting Range Khane Ke Ahal.<\/p>\n<p>In the Junior Men\u2019s Championship, Udayp Partap Singh and Vishavdeep Singh bagged the first and second positions respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the Senior Men\u2019s championship, Vijesh Bhola, Arun Sodhi and Sahil Gureja got the first, second and third positions in the order. However, in the Trap Championship, Bhupinder Sodhi, Parvinder Sodhi and Pawan Giddeon got first, second and third positions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Distt.
