Special Documentary depicting the history of Shiromani Akali Dal exhibited

Ferozepur, August 24, 2016  : A special documentary was exhibited at a local marriage resort to make the youngsters aware about rich and glorious history of Shiromani Akali Dal,

Speaking on this occasion, Joginder Singh Jindu, SAD MLA from Ferozepur (Rural) who organized the programme said that with the help of this documentary film, the youth will be able to know about the glorious past of valiant Sikhs, Sikh’s contribution during the freedom struggle, about the origin of SAD, Gurdwara Reform Movement, Gadar movement, Jaiton Ka Morcha, Punjab Province and several other proud historic moments of Sikh History.

DUring his address to the congregation, the MLA also lashed out at arch rivals Congress and Aam Aadmi Party and insisted both these parties are involved in the conspiracy of presenting a wrong picture of Punjab in front of the world.

Jindu alleged that these parties are making propaganda about several issues related to Punjab due to their vested interests.

A clarion call was given by Jindu, to the SAD workers to come forward and give a befitting answer to such baseless allegations.

Present among others on this occasion, Satpal Singh Talwandi, Darshan Singh Sherkhan, Balwinder Singh Bhabhalanda, SGPC members, Bachhitar Singh Mour, Chairman, Market Committee, Ferozepur, Sukhwinder Singh, Chairman,Market Committee, Talwandi Bhai and several other SAD workers were present.
