Goodwill Gesture: SSP conveys best wishes on birthday to 16 Punjab police cops in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, April 4, 2022: To make their special days even more special, as many as, SSP Ferozepur, Charanjit Singh Sohal, presented a bouquet and a certificate, to 16 Punjab police cops and 5 Home Guard jawans on their birthday today, under the unique initiative of the Punjab government.
A greeting card jointly signed by the Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, and DGP V K Bhawra to greet police personnel is worded as “Today on your birthday, we congratulate you from the core of our heart and pray that the coming year may bring good health and happiness to you and your family. We also hope that you should perform your duty to serve the people with utmost dedication, hard work, and honesty.”
Wishing the employees a happy, prosperous, and long life, with clapping, on this occasion, Charanjit Singh Johal, SSP Ferozepur said, the goodwill gesture was launched today, under the novel initiative taken by the police department to convey best wishes to its employees.
He said the police officers and officials deal with very challenging situations on a daily basis. They are put in violent situations sometimes in the course of doing their job of keeping us safe. Remembering them on their birthdays, would a long way to boost their morale in recognition of selfless services rendered by them besides giving a sense of pride to their family members.
It is hoped that they will perform their duty to serve the people with utmost dedication, hard work, and honesty. The event will be a regular feature, depending upon the convenience at the district level or at different stations, he added.
