Golden Arrow Division celebrates 69th Independence Day
Ferozepur, August 16, 2015:L The Golden Arrow Division celebrated the occasion of 69th Independence Day of the Nation by conducting a series of events to include flag hoisting at the Serenity Park, whose flag mast is the highest in the State and stands tall echoing the patriotic fervor prominent in the air of Ferozepur.
Naresh Vig, PRO Defence said, a melodious band display was organised for the locals in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium with a total of seven bands of different Regiments playing their martial tunes in unison.
He further said, the flag hoisting ceremony was attended by all ranks of the Army with their families and a large strength of school children as also witnessed by the local public, rejuvenating and striking their nationalistic chord. The military band also had the locals spellbound with their intense and spirited performance.
