Four mobiles found lying outside jail factory garden
Ferozepur, December 19, 2020: Four mobiles have been found lying outside jail factory graden packed in two packets in green packing.
A case under 52-A, 42 Sections of Prisons Act has been registered against the unidentified persons and further investigations are on with Dalip Kumar IO appointed in this case.
Divulging with details, Hari Singh Assistant Supdt. Central Jail said, on Thursday, four mobiles were found wrapped in green packing of two packets. On opening, one mobile of touch screen of MO brand, 3 mobiles key pad brand Lava with battery and without SIM Card along with 8 sachets of ‘zarda’ were recovered.
Recovery of mobiles from inside the jail from the inmates is a regular feature. There had been involvement of some jail officials also in smuggling inside the banned items. This has posed a threat to security arrangements. The high rising building around the jail premises has posed a security threat with the recovery of unclaimed banned items including mobiles, even from the high security zones, thrown from the outside.
