Preparation for 2017 Assembly elections are going on vigorously: Sanjay Singh
Ferozepur, May 18, 2015 (Harish Monga) : A fissure was clearly visible among the Aam Aadmi Party leaders in Ferozepur when the AAP leaders welcomed the visiting leaders at two different porgammes organized under the banner – Beiman Bhajao and Punjab Baachao – were organized by District Incharge Amandeep Kaur and Satnam Pal Kamboj, MP candidate.
The rally was led by Sanjay Singh, Incharge Punjab affairs and Suchha Singh Chhotepur, Convener.
Because of its working style, the Aam Aadmi Party which has started focusing the people through Jan Chetna March have again come in limelight over a number questions for its survival. It looks that the party is not working for uniting the people but dividing them.
It is pertinent to mention here that AAP leaders in Ferozepur are divided in two factions led by Satnam Paul Kamboj, party’s candidate in the last Lok Sabha and Amandeep Kaur, District convener of the Party. Satnam Paul Kamboj welcomed the Rally at a marriage palace situated at Faridkot Road while the other faction welcomed the rally at some another palace.
Satnam Paul Kamboj said that how Amandeep Kaur can declare herself as “District Convener”. “The party has not officially given any post to anyone in this region, how she can claim that she has been given the convener’s post”, baffled kamboj. He also said that he will discuss the matter with the party high command.
Talking to the media persons, Suchha Singh Chhotepur lashed out at Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister, Punjab and even crossed his limits.
Leveling charges on Badals over the farmers’ issue, he said, Badals are cheating with the farmers and they are busy in flourishing their business.
He said, Badal have surrendered before the Narinder Modi and have shown back to the farmers.
When asked about the split in the party, Sanjay Singh said, there is nothing like that in Ferozepur and if any, the same will be solved shortly. The preparation for 2017 Assembly elections are going on vigorously.
