Firing on Cash Van near Axis Bank in village Hakumat Singh Wala in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, December 28,2015: An incident of firing on cash van near Axis Bank in villae Hakumat Singh Wala near Ferozepur at about 10.15 am has come to notice by he unidentified persons, in which three persons have been injured and admitted in the Faridkot Medical College.

As per the available information, firing was made on the cash van with a motive of loot and in return the employees also fired and the attempt was foiled but in this incident three employees were injured who were referred to Faridkot Guru Gobind Singh Medical College.
However,the looters put on fire the Scorpio at about 8 Kms from the incident spot and fled away in another vehicle.
So far, the accused have not been identified and police is on look for them. Rs.1.63 crore is said to be cash available in the cash loader van of security agency started from Ludhiana and only Rs.20 lacs were loaded at the first stop over in the branches at Talwandi Bhai.

From the action of robbers putting the vehicle used in the incident on fire, looks to be professional.  On the basis of strong clues and leads, the accused will be nabbed soon, said police chief.
