Ferozepur’s Central Jail female inmates present mesmerizing cultural programme organized by DLSA

Ferozepur, September 20, 2019:  The cultural programme by Female inmates of Ferozepur’s Central Jail today presented the mesmerizing performance to show their re-creativity, in the jail campus, under orders of District and Sessions Judge, Ferozepur, Parminder Pal Singh.

Rajni Bala, Hema Talwar, Retainer Lawyers under the tutelage of Amanpreet Singh, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority arranged the cultural items – Gidha, Singing, Dance etc. – of women prisoners and prisoners under trial, forgetting their sufferings and to appreciate their good work.

Hema Talwar said, “Such activities create a positive environment in the prison while it also energises the inmates. The gathering also helps to building their self-confidence.

District and Sessions Judge, Ferozepur, Parminder Pal Singh joined the programme as Chief Guest of the function.

Appreciating the performance of women jail inmates on this occasion who performed decked in colourful attires and wearing bright make up for the special day, he said, the programme was intended to encourage female inmates to overcome the negativity of their past lives. They too have every right to enjoy and celebrate.

On this occasion, apart from others, Ajay Latava, Rajeshwar Singh Retainer Lawyers and K.S.Sandhu, Superintendent Jail were present.
