Ferozepur youths organize Candle March to combat child sex abuse
Ferozepur, May 26, 2019: Child Abuse whether sexual or nonsexual is a question mark on humanity and to create awareness among the citizens, a group of youths of border town Ferozepur showing concern on this social evil, organized a Candle March on Saturday evening.
Among those associated with the group were Srabjit Singh Bedi, Dr.Nirmal Joshi,Dr.Jagdeep Joshi, Jajwinder, Seema Rana.
Speaking on this occasion, Sehaj said, Child abuse is the root of all evil. It contributes to social destruction and disrupts a healthy lifecycle. There is also a invisible damage caused in unreported and unpunished cases. I feel, there is a need to implement the Child Protection Law strictly with exemplary punishment so that no one dares to do wrongs.
He appealed to the people to come together to combat child sex abuse.
