Ferozepur  witnessed dip in Covid-19 cases on second day

Ferozepur, June 6, 2021: On the second consecutive day, the Ferozepur district logged dip in Covid-19 cases, with 52 positive only and two deaths. On Saturday, 79 positive cases were reported.

There is need to maintain this dip status by following the corona appropriate behavior, said health official.

As per the report, 1,82,699 samples were taken in the district, out of which 1,69,023 were tested negative, 13,276 positive, 11,882 recovered, 976 active cases and results of 400 samples are still awaited.

With two deaths today one male 26 years and 90 years  male sof Mamdot and Guruaharsahi blocks, the total death figure reaches 417.

In all 34 – three containment and 31 micro containment zones are still under observations in various blocks of the district.

Out of 8 Black Fungus cases reported, one has cured, one expired and five are still under treatment in the hospitals.

In the vaccination drive, today 994 persons were given Covid vaccine making the total as on date to 1,27,994 persons including the frontline and health workers.
