Ferozepur Urban’s AAP MLA pledged to gift only Punjabi books to promote Punjabi language
Ferozepur, March 26, 2022: Gifting is a beautiful gesture for expressing your feelings to the recipient. However, it is common for anyone to worry about what to gift, especially when there are so many fantastic gift options. But to promote the Punjabi language by gifting Punjabi books is the brainchild of local Ferozepur Urban AAP MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar.
Rajnish Dhaiya, AAP MLA from Ferozepur Rural, and Deepak Shama, Founder, Mayank Foundation were also present on this occasion.
These words were shared by AAP MLA Bhullar on World Theatre Day celebrations by Punjab Language Department Ferozepur in collaboration with Mayank Foundation – a leading NGO, at Dass and Brown School.
Books are a persons’ best companion making every moment worthwhile. Books are also like a garden which one can take along with him anywhere.
With this concept, he also pledged to gift Punjabi books on any ritual of marriage or birthday parties to gift Punjabi books which can be a great gift than any other item to promote the mother language.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest, Ranbir Singh Bhullar, AAP MLA from Ferozepur Urban said, there is a need to save the youths of Punjab from drugs and also our Punjabi language and it could only be possible with the cooperation from all.
Sharing his family incident of his wife’s death, who was a Punjabi teacher, Bhullar said, I have gifted at least 500 Punjabi books of her personal library to the known and unknown friends as a part of promoting the Punjabi language among the people.
Congratulating the Language Department to organize a solo Punjabi play on the occasion of World Theatre Day by writer and director, Som Pal, to promote Punjabi, Ranbir Bhullar, MLA said, staging of such plays on a regular basis is the need of the hour to promote and save Punjabi language.
