Ferozepur team wins 3 Gold, 9 Silver medals in Taekwondo Championship Dream Cup at Mathura

Ferozepur, August 29, 2023: Twelve members of Ferozepur’s 22 members team won 3 Gold, 9 Silver medals in Taekwondo Championship Dream Cup held at Mathura. The team members were given a warm welcome at the Ferozepur Cantt railway station by the families of participants, and sports lovers.
As many as, 22 members’ team from Ferozepur, under the banner of Energy Sports and Fitness Academy of India, Punjab, participated in Open National Taekwondo Championship Dream Cup organized by Mathura Taekwondo Organization (MTO) at Agar Vatika Hall, Mathura for two days on August 26-27.
In all, around 450 players from 10 States participated in this championship and three events Kyorugi, Poomse, Tag Team were organized.
Pankaj Chourasia, famous coach of Punjab said, out of 22 members, 12 players won 3 Gold by Vanjla Chaurasia, Michael, Manvi and 9 Silver medals by Vishal Kumar, Krish Kochhar, Anhad Kathpal, Rihan Gumber, Daksh, Sparsh Sachdeva, Purnima Jaiswal, Rajan, Aryan Meena. While Jatin, Yuvraj Singh, Karan Mehta got the fourth place.
He said, in the month of October, a high-level grand championship will be organized by our academy in Ferozepur.
On this occasion, the Principal of many organizations and schools, sports teachers were present and congratulated the team for the victory.
