Ferozepur Police unfolded mystery of blind murders of 6 migrant labourers and old age couple
Ferozepur, March 26 : The Ferozepur police claim to have unfolded the mystery of blind murders of six family members of migrant labourers and an old aged couple with the arrest of all the three accused.
Addressing the media persons, Hardial Singh Mann, SSP, Ferozepur said 5 members of migrant family and a girl namely Baby belonged to this family was taken away by the accused and after that she was murdered by strangling.
Further, Mann informed that on 19.03.2015 Vishwanath s/o Raj Pal Singh r/o Ward No.8 Talwandi Bhai informed the Police Station, Ghall Khurd that Rani w/o Banke Bihari and her daughter Baby had been working for cleaning and washing clothes etc in his house from last 19 years. Both of them had not been coming to his house for cleaning and washing clothes from last 8 days. So he went to Rani's house to know the reason. But Rani's house was locked and he tried to look inside the house through a hole of the door. He felt a foul odour coming from the house. He at once reported this to the Police Station, Ghall Khurd. Police Party arrived and entered into the house by breaking its door. There were dead bodies of Banke Bihar, his wife Rani, his son Nandu and his younger daughter in law Lalita were lying in one room while dead body of Kunder s/o Banke Bihari was found lying in another room. All the dead bodies were badly rotten. Post-Mortem report revealed that all the above said victims were murdered by sharp weapon. In this connection, FIR No.45 dated 20.03.2015 under section 302 IPC registered in Police Station Ghall Khurd.
In the same manner, on 13.03.2015 Manpreet Singh s/o Late Sukhwant Singh r/o Village Bhangar now residing Distt Faridkot had informed the Police Station, Ghall Khurd that he is grandson of Barister Singh and Sukhmandar Kaur. His Grandmother Sukhmander Kaur had died before 15-16 years. After the death of Sukhmandar Kaur, his grandfather Barister Singh and Raj Kaur were living as husband and wife. On an intervening night of 12-13/03/2015, Barister Singh and Raj Kaur were murdered brutally with sharp weapons. The dead bodies of both of the victims were lying down on the floor and were soaking with blood. On his statement a case FIR No. 42 dated 13.03.2015 U/s 302 IPC PS Ghall Khurd got registered.
Both the above mentioned unresolved Blind Murder cases investigated into by Sh. Amarjit Singh, PPS, SP/Investigation, Ferozepur under the supervision of Sh. Satnam Singh, PPS, DSP/Rural Ferozepur. SI Dilbagh Singh, SHO Ghall Khurd and CIA Staff deeply scrutinized the cases who succeeded in unfolding the mystery of 05 blind murder cases of a migrant family and arrested 1) Wakeel Singh s/o Hardev Singh r/o Ward No.12, New Water Works, Talwandi Bhai and 2) Jaspreet Singh s/o Preetam Singh r/o Canal Colony Talwandi Tipala Police Station Makhu on 26.03.2015.
During interrogation from Wakeel Singh and Jaspreet Singh it came forward that they are cousins. Wakeel Singh worked on Laboratory. Kundan s/o Wakeel Singh eve-teased the sister of Wakeel Singh some times before. Wakeel Singh wanted to take revenge from Banke Bihari and he cultivated friendship with Banke Bihari and used to visit Banke Bihari's house frequently. Wakeel Singh also made illicit relation with Banke Bihari's daughter Baby. Nandu s/o Banke Bihari had not having Child and used to Wakeel Singh's Lab for Tests etc. Wakeel Singh told Nandu that there was phantom spirit at their house. He also told Nandu that he knew an indigenous medicine of to solve his trouble. On 13.03.2015 night Wakeel Singh and Jaspreet Singh went to Banke Bihari's house. They deceived her to give intoxicating drugs to her family members and after that they captured Baby in Washroom. They also told her to not to worry about if she heard screams of her family members as they were treating their family members from phantom spirit. Then they murdered her family members brutally with knife and axe. Early morning they took Baby to Himachal Pardesh alongwith them. They returned back to Hari ke river when they became out of money. There Baby revealed them that she already registered a rape case against some person. Both the accused feared to hear this from Baby. They tried to get rid of this trouble and so they murdered Baby by strangling and then they pushed her into the river. Dead body of the victim is not discovered yet. Weapons used for murders have been recovered from them.
Similarly, Police unfolded the mystery of Blind Murders of Barister Singh and Raj Kaur and arrested Charanjit Kaur w/o Mukhtiar Singh r/o Khosa Kotla r/o Faridkot on 24.03.2015. In preliminary investigation, it came forward that Charanjit Kaur divorced Mukhtiar Singh. She was residing Ludhiana and then shifted to Jalandhar. In year 2006, she injured a woman who died afterwards and in this connection FIR No.88 dated 05.07.2006 under section 302 IPC lodged against her in PS Division No.7, Jalandhar. In this regard, she had been punished with imprisonment of 10 years. She remained prisoner in Jails of District Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar and Faridkot. Now she bailed out before 10-11 Months and worked in Barister Singh's house. On the intervening night of 12-13.03.2015 Charanjit Kaur threw chillies in the eyes of Barister Singh and murdered him brutally by hitting rasp on his head. On hearing the screams of Barister Singh, Raj Kaur awaked. Charanjit Kaur also murdered Raj Kaur by hitting the same rasp on her head. After that she stole a Gold ring from the hand of Barister Singh and a pair of Ear-rings from the ears of Raj Kaur alongwith 02 Mobiles Phones and escaped from the scene. Police Party arrested Charanjit Kaur and recovered Gold ornaments and 02 mobiles etc.
