Ferozepur Police solves murder mystery, 4 held with car used in incident

Ferozepur, June 20, 2024: The Ferozepur police solved the murder mystery – murder converted into missing – with the arrest of four accused with a car used in the incident.
Divulging with the details, Soumiya Mishra, SSP informed that on June 11, a complaint was given to the police by Sukhdeep Kaur about the missing husband Manjit Singh resident of Zira. During the investigation, the missing of Manjit Singh became suspicious, with the help of technical sources, which was confirmed by Gursewak Singh brother of Manjit Singh of Moga now at Jalandhar. He confirmed that Sukhdeep Kaur, because of her illicit relations, his brother had been murdered with the help of her beloved Harjinder Singh of Gadiwind in Tarn Taran stating that his brother Manjit Singh along with his wife Sukhdeep Kaur was walking when they were kidnapped from Kachha Mansurdeva Road Zira.
SSP said, that out of the total 6 accused in this murder mystery, four have been arrested along with a car used in the incident. The four accused Sukhdip Kaur (33), Harjinder Singh (3), Gurleen Singh alias Mota (20), and Arshdeep Singh (20) were identified and have been arrested while the remaining two Jagjiwan Singh alias Jaggu (20).
Further, during an in-depth investigation of the arrested accused Manjit Singh, he admitted that on the night of June 6-7, Manjit Singh was murdered by pressing his neck with cloth and his body was thrown in the Beas River by tied with the stone and wrapped with barbed wire.
However, the dead body is being searched. Harjinder Singh accused also admitted that in 2022, a drug de-addiction centre was opened when one of the inmates had jumped from the roof and died and his dead body was also thrown into the Beas River and his family was informed about his missing.
SSP said, the investigations are on in the case and the remaining two accused Hardeep Singh alias Happy (22) are yet to be traced for which the police hunt is on. More clues are likely to come to the surface during further probes into the case.
