Ferozepur, June 7, 2023: The Ferozepur police chief – Bhupinder Singh Sidhu, Sr. Superintendent of Police – rewarded 9 officials of CIA staff, with cash prize, for their outstanding work in drugs case in the FIR registered at Kulgarhi police station.
Divulging with details, Bhupinder Singh, SSP said, the officials who performed for their duties exceptionally well were rewarded in my office over a simple and impressive ceremony. The awardees have made a recovery of 2.8 kg heroin, Rs.12,97,000 drug money, 1 illegal weapon, 2 magazines by busting a major inter district drug gang. SP(Investigation) Randhir Kumar and DSP Fateh Singh Brar were also present on this occasion.
He said, a team headed by Inspector Harpreet Singh incharge CIA, Ferozepur along with Gurmeet Singh ASI, Jagtat Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Simranjit Singh, Balour Singh HCs and Gursahab Singh, Ranjeet Singh and Sukhjant Singh Senior Constables worked exceptionally good in-busting a major inter district drug gang. The cash reward is around Rs.1.5 lac besides a good entry in character roll of police personnel.
SSP said, this cash award and certificate is to encourage and motivate the staff and to reinforce the belief that their efforts were get due recognition in their service career.
