Ferozepur police nab one drug pusher with heroin
Ferozepur, August 14, 2022: The Ferozepur police claimed to have arrested one drug pusher, identified as Amandeep alias Amna of village Palla Megha, falling under Sadar Police station, with recovery of 50 gm heroin.
In another case, one Sukhwinder Singh has been arrested from Bedi Colony with 100 bottles of illicit liquor.
Both the accused have been booked in different Sections – 21 of NDLPS and 61/1/14 of Excise Act and further investigations are on.
Added here, Mohit Dhawan, SHO posted at Ferozepur City police station, on August 8, had nabbed two peddlers with 10 gm heroin after chasing for about 10 km and firing intelligently on the front tyre of the vehicle, in a filmy style and DGP Punjab had annunced to honour him on 75th India’s Independence Day, to recognize his commendable services.
