Ferozepur Police conducts ‘Special Morning Checking Campaign’ across the district
Ferozepur, 23 July 2022 The Ferozepur police today conduced ‘Special Morning Checking Campaign’ across the district as per the directions of DGP Punjab, under the tutelage of SSP Ferozepur Surendra Lamba. It is a continuous checking operation to suppress the bad elements and increase vigilance in the district. Suspicious vehicles were checked by putting checkpoints at every place.
SSP Surendra Lamba said that a special vehicle checking campaign was conducted at 25 checkpoints from 7 am to 10 am today, in which all GOs and SHOs personally participated in the checking. Each checkpoint has 10/12 policemen for effective checking and show of force. It was planned yesterday evening and the venue and time were intimated to all officials in advance for better deployment and effectiveness. The purpose of this entire checking campaign is to instill fear of the police in the bad elements and eliminate them besides to create a sense of security among the common people and provide a safe environment which is the only goal of the government and the police.
SSP Said that once again this morning, special checkpoints have been put up to speed up vigilance and checking of vehicles. Special checking is being done on all vehicles entering and exiting Ferozepur. He said that more and more police officers and manpower are being mobilized for this operation. Blocks have been installed at the sealing points of the district/city under the supervision of SP, DSP, Inspector, SHO level officials who will ensure thorough checking for the safety of the people.
