He said, under the operation against anti-social elements, the police team headed by Randhir Kumar, SP(D), in an operation, working swiftly on a tip-off by the ASI Jang Singh, nabbed five alleged accused from near Zira Gae while checking the suspicious nature persons, identified as – Veer Singh alias Veeru son of Kashmir Singh resident of Golbagh, Sokar Canal City Ferozepur. , Akash alias Vikas son of James resident of Sada Nandar Wali Street Basti Ava, Kiran son of Bittu resident of Basti Ava, Harbans Singh ‘Bansa son of Mukhtiar Singh, Kamaljit Singh, Kamal son of Keval Singh resident of Kamal Wala, Police Station Mallan Wala, District Ferozepur.
He further informed that the police recovered the deadly weapons from the accused 2 knives, one base bat, 3 mobile phones and 2 motorcycle brands without registration number plates. A case has been registered at police station Ferozepur City against the five arrested accused under under Sections 399/402/411 of IPC and further investigations are on.
