FEROZEPUR MLA MAKES 11-YEARS OLD STUDENT LIVE HER DREAM AS A SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
ONE-DAY PRINCIPAL KHUSHI HAD A GREAT RECEPTION AT HER SCHOOLS
PRESENTED HER AN FDR OF Rs. 51000 FOR HER FUTURE STUDY, HAD LANGER WITH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Ferozepur, September 23, 2019: MLA Ferozepur City Parminder Singh Pinki made an 11-years old girl to live her dream as a school Principal by making her feel like the principal of her school on Monday. Khushi a student of 6th class at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Ferozepur became Principal for one day and observed the working of school Principal besides acting as Principal while sitting on the Principal's chair.
Interacting with the media, MLA Parminder Singh Pinki said that a few days ago he had visited the school to inaugurate smart classes when he had his first interaction with Khushi. He came to know due to genetic predisposition of her physical growth stopped and she is only 2.9 feet, which made her a special child, said the MLA.
He further added that during interaction with Kushi she apprised him that she wanted to become a school Principal in her life so that he decided to motivate the girl by making her Principal for one day of her school.
On Monday, she was allowed to live her dream and to get motivated to move towards her goal in life. After becoming Principal Khushi visited the school premises and inspected the newly built rainwater harvesting system in the school. She also expressed her wish to have a shed over Mid-day meal mess and RO system in the school, which was granted by the MLA as Pinki directed the concerned officials to undertake this task at the earliest. MLA Pinki along with Khushi and other students had Langer at the school premises.
MLA Parminder Singh Pinki said that the step was aimed at motivating such special children who want to follow their dreams but lack confidence as there are around 1100 students in the school and this will boost their morale to pursue their dreams.
Meanwhile, Baba Lakha Singh from Nanaksar Sahib especially joined the occasion to bless Kushi on this special day.
On the occasion, ADC (D) Ravinder Pal Sandhu, SDM Amit Gupta, School Principal Rajesh Mehta, Deputy DEO Komal Arora, EO Municipal Council Charanjit Sharma were present.
