Ferozepur district judged first in NITI Aayog’s aspirational programme

Ferozepur 14 January 2021:  Under the aspirational programme of NITI Aayog, Ferozepur district got the distinction of getting the first position and because of excellent performance during September and October 2020, an additional amount of Rs.7 crore has been sanctioned to the district.

Disclosing this today Parminder Singh Pinki MLA said that apart from getting approval for the upgrading of SBS State Technical Campus o University Government University, the PGI Satellite Center, and various other major projects have also been started.

He said that in order to take the Ferozepur district out of the backward class, where the government officials have made invaluable contribution, they have been able to take the district to greater heights with the help and inspiration of the people of the district.

Pinki said that with the sanctioned amount of Rs.7 crore, every possible effort was being made to make the district a modern district adding that with this grant health, education and other basic facilities including sports would be provided in the district.

Thanking the district administration and all the administrative officers, Pinki appealed to all the residents to cooperate in the progress of development works of the district, so that more new projects could be got sanctioned, to take the district to new heights.
