Ferozepur continues to reel under scorching heat

Ferozepur, May 25, 2018: With Punjab reeling under scorching heat for the last few days with temperature in Ferozepur today touching 44 degree Celsius.  The school children are facing difficulty in moving during the roasting like heat.

The students of village Jhoke Tehal Singh were seen going back to their homes in a group adopted a unique way to save from sun rays, by covering with a cloth sheet, to themselves.

Inder Singh Gogia, President, NGOs Coordination Society said, the education department should think over advancing the summer vacation besides its duration around one and a half months which will provide relief to school children from the tormenting heat that has swept the State.
