Ferozepur, November 25, 2021: Saurish Sharma ‘Rimmi’ conferred with  Dada Saheb Phalke award in category Best Astrologer Film Industry, has urged the government to revive the traditional science of astrology, palmistry, and numerology and promote these not only at local and national levels but also at international forums as well. It is time for the world to recognize how these traditional Indian sciences were ahead of their times and what impact it could have on the world itself.

It is a matter of great pride for Ferozepur and Punjab, as a young boy from this border town has earned a great name in the field of Astrology in Mumbai, where he is practicing Astrology and Vaastu consultation under the banner ‘Omega Astro’ and the majority of the film and TV stars are his clients.

Keeping in view of his services being rendered to the film and TV industry, Saurish Sharma ‘Rimmi’ has been conferred with the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award in the category Best Astrologer Film Industry in a grand function organized in Mumbai on Wednesday night.

This was the 3rd edition of the Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Films, which was attended by Union Minister of Steel MoS Faggan Singh Kulaste, who briefly handed over the award to the winners. The event was attended by various luminaries from the film and television industry who were awarded for their outstanding performances. Saurish is the youngest person to win the award in a solo category and is the only astrologer to win this award in the category of ‘Celebrity Astrologer’. At the event, Saurish had the opportunity to interact with all these celebrities.

Saurish ‘Rimmi’, son of senior journalist Dinesh Sharma, had his schooling from DCM school before doing post-graduation in Astrology.

Saurish Sharma, who is a renowned astrologer in the region, told about how astrology is helping to bring a change in peoples’ life. “Astrology is a divine and ancient science that enables us to look into the future shows us what to expect, what energies lie ahead and when is the best time to take action to accomplish our goals. This way it gives us a basic indication of what lies ahead so that we can make informed and meaningful decisions. “Astrology allows us to have a more objective understanding of our character, recognition of our talents and potential, and opportunity for emotional and spiritual maturation. It allows us to make practical changes in order to improve the quality of our life,” he added.

Saurish said astrology can be effectively used to know what lies in store for us in times ahead, so we can better prepare for the events to unfold, be mentally prepared to face the challenges, also to actually reduce the impact of unfavorable events through remedies. So, astrology has an impact on each and every aspect of a person’s life-profession, marriage, finance, litigation, health, education, just to name a few.

“My expertise lies in the way I mix up both astrology and modern sciences to easily explain to my clients the concepts of astrology and how doing simple, non-expensive remedies would help them achieve results they desire,” he said adding that if the government starts with astrology as a subject in colleges and universities, with proper research and data available to people following the subject, almost half of the cases in hospitals and courts could be prevented by following certain simple remedies to avoid any problems in the first place. Central Govt., in the past, has done a good job in reviving the traditional Indian medicines through the Ministry of AYUSH. Likewise, I urge the Central Govt. to take steps in this direction and work to revive the traditional science of astrology, palmistry, and numerology, etc as well and promote these not only at local and national levels but also at international forums as well. It is time for the world to recognize how these traditional Indian sciences were ahead of their times and what impact it could have on the world itself.
