Ferozepur based firm represents in Gulfood-2017 – World’s largest annual food event at Dubai

Dubai, March 1, 2017:  Gulfood-2017 – World’s largest annual food event –  at World Trade Centre, Dubai, – 26 February – 3 March, was represented by border town based firm – Bhagwati Lacto Vegetarian Exports (P) Ltd. – BLV.

Gulfood 2017 – a food and beverage commodity expo, was officially inaugurated by the Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Sunday morning at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

It was seen that the consumer demand for product knowledge feeds exhibitor interest in World Food at Gulfood 2017. Around 5,000 exhibitors from 120 countries are showcasing their products and services.

The business opportunities are vast and the stakes are high in the market valued at more than $5 Trillion globally and to grow in the most competitive suppliers armed with real-time knowledge of industry pricing and forthcoming trends, Gulfest is the best opening at World Trade Centre in Dubai.

Speaking to this correspondent, Sushil Mittal, CMD, Krishan K.Mittal, President and Rahul Mittal, CEO and ED said, BLV has set up its factory over 22 acres having storage area of 56 acres with storage capacity of 1,25,000 MTs covered godowns.  The production capacity of the BLV is 720 MTs per day in its five working plants of –Satake (Japan).

Prof. Rajiv Arora, Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur (Punjab), India, who is doing research work on value added products from paddy – also attended the Gulfood-2017 to explore the possibility of its use in the various products with high nutrients at lower cost, in the food processing industries, at the global level.
