Farmers Outfits hold ‘Tractor March’ in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, January 7, 2021: Various Farmers’ Outfits on Wednesday, held a Tractor March in protest against the three Farm Laws and in support of going-on agitation on Delhi brders.
More than 300 tractors and around 100 vehicles and bikes participated in 2-km Tractor March stared from historical gurudwara Saragarhi and passed through the Mall Road, Basti Tankan Wali, Gobind Nagri, Namdev Chowk, Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk and circular road and culminated back at Saragarhi gurudwara.
Thanking the participants in the Tractor March, Advocate Manjinder Singh Bhullar and Moda Singh said, the protests by the farmers will continue till such time the black farm laws are not withdrawn. He said around 2,000 farmers and labourers will move to Delhi to participate in the protest at Delhi. Later, tributes were also paid to the farmers who had lost their lives in this protest. They specially thanked the farmers organisations and local associations – Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, Bhartiya Kisan Union Dakoda, Krantikari Kisan Union, Bar Associataion, Ferozepur Parents Associataion, Shaheed Udham Singh youth Club Khai Pheme Ke and others – for making the Tractor March a grand success.
