Farmer killed by a farmer in Ferozepur on spat over plucking of corn spool

Ferozepur, May 24, 2016:  A youth – Sukhdev,18 years old – was killed in firing by a farmer in village Dhole Wala near Mallanwala in Ferozpur district, on a minor issue of plucking of a corn spool from the field.

As per the available information, Sukhdev was coming home after collecting the students from the school and stopped on the way to pluck the corn spool from the field when Kulbir Singh Nambardar owner of the field reached there. He stopped the children from doing so and fired on Sukhdev, who died on the spot.

Immediately on getting the information, Satnam Singh, DSP Ferozepur and Jasbir Singh, SHO Kulgarhi reached the spot along with the police party.

Further investigation was started by the police after taking the dead body in possession.
