Education Deptt honours Social Activist Vipul Narang with National Golden Arrow Award
Ferozepur, February 23, 2024: The Education Department has honoured Social Activist Vipul Narang with the National Golden Arrow Award in recognition of his services in scouting and social service, for the students in the government schools. He is an example of selfless service in the city and is known as Yes Man.
The award was presented by Assistant Commissioner, Suraj Kumar on behalf of the Punjab Education Department. Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross was present on this occasion.
Earlier, Vipul arranged the screening of hundreds of students in government schools for their eyesight and provided spectacles free of cost to them. Recently, he distributed tracksuits and boots to hundreds of children. He has been of great help to donate on-demand anything for the inmates of Home for the Blind.
The desire to serve people is a gift from my parents, said Vipul Narang. I feel proud for this honour which will remind me to continue with culture in future also, he added.
