Dy. CM to dedicate dream project of “Amphibious Bus” in Hari Ke on December 12
Ferozepur, December 11, 2016: The Punjab Government will fulfill its commitment by dedicating the maiden journey of country’s first water bus in the wetland of Hari Pattan –Beas and Satluj – on December 12.
The trial of Amphibious Bus in the river water by Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, DC, Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, Director Punjab Tourism Department, R.K.Bakshi, SSP, Vineet Kumar, ADM Zira, Rajbir Singh, SPH, was successful.
Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, Deputy Commissioner and Navjot Pal Singh Randhwana, Director Toursim informed that with the start of dream project of water bus project, readied by a Swedish Company, at a cost of Rs.8 crore, tomorrow will give a boost to the tourism in the state and all arrangements for travelers have been made at Hari Ke Head Works by Toursim Department.
They further said, the 32-seater water bus will cover a distance of 12.7 KMs from Hari Ke Pattan to Amritsar.
