DLSA organizes Walkathon Rally in Ferozepur
Ferozepur November 9, 2017: The District Legal Service Authority today organized ‘Walkathon Rally’ on the first day of ten days’ under ‘Connect to Serve’ programme, starting from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium to District Courts Complex, under the tutelage of District and Sessions Judge, S.K.Aggarwal, to create awareness among the people about their legal rights and providing of free legal services to the needy persons.
Ramvir, Deputy Commissioner, Vineet Kumar, ADC, Bhupinder Singh, SSP, Shivdeep Singh Sandhu, President, District Bar Council, Arshdeep Singh Randhawa besides a galaxy of the judiciary, heads of departments, students and representatives of various social, religions organizers also participated in the Walkathon Rally.
S.K.Aggarwal, District and Sessions Judge said, the ten days awareness programme has been started on National Legal Services Day. The motive behind this programme is to create awareness among them about their legal rights and who are unable to engage the legal counsel on their own.
He appealed to the people to create awareness among the people about various social evils by becoming a part of this campaign.
Deputy Commissioner, Ramvir appreciating the success of the rally, thanked all those who participated today and appealed to cooperate for the rest of the days.
