DLSA celebrates World Mental Health Day at Govt School Hazara Singh Wala
Ferozepur, October 10, 2022: World Mental Health Day was celebrated at Govt Sr. Sec; School at Hazara Singh Wala by the District Legal Service Authority. Ekta Uppal, CJM Secretary DLSA presided over the event today, under the tutelage of Virinder Aggarwal, District and Sessions Judge.
The theme for 2022’s celebration of World Mental health Day is “’Make mental health & well-being for all a global priority’ World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10.
The primary goal of World Mental Health Day is to create awareness about mental health issues across the globe and to inspire the global citizenry to support the cause of mental health. The celebration ensures that mental health as an issue is highlighted and stays in the public consciousness.
Addressing the students, Ekta Uppal, CJM shared about the increasing mental stress in today’s fast-paced life and throw light on as to how the stress is created, the reasons for its occurrence and how to prevent it and come out of it.
Talking about the activities taking place in the Legal Literacy Clubs formed at the schools, she asked the students to raise their hidden talents within them being a part of this club. She also appreciated the charts displayed by the students of Legal Literacy Club and the day was celebrated through poster making, writing, essay competition etc. Later, the students also presented poems and yoga activities and asked the Principal to further groom their talents to compete at the state level.
