Ferzozepur, February 24, 2020: Dev Samaj College for Women – a leading educational institution of the area, every ready for the overall development of students – organized 26th Annual Grand Mela in its campus, presided over by Parminder Singh Pinki, MLA Ferozepur as Chief Guest.
Present on this occasion were, Inderjit Kaur Khosa wife of MLA, Rajesh Aggarwal, DRM Ferozepur Deepak from Mayank Foundation and Sarvjeet Kaur, President, MC Zira and Dr.Rajinder Sharma, Member Managing Committee.
Parminder Singh Pinki, MLA appreciated the services of Dr.Madhu Prashar in the field of education and congratulated the students for organizing the Mela. DRM, Rajesh Aggarwal also expressed his happiness over the arrangements of the Mela.
Dr.Madhu Prashar, Secretary said, the Central Association of the College, NCC and NSS like previous years organized this Mela-2020 also with an aim to keep associated the students with the inherited culture and to inculcate the enthusiasm among the students.
On this occasion, for the entertainment of the visitors to the Mela, around 30 stalls were put up and students and visitors enjoyed the event. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students of the College and a Fashion Show – Astitva and Ramp Walk were attractive items of the Mela.
The Chief Guest and guests were honoured with College Souvenir by the College.
The mela was concluded under the tutelage of Er.Parteek Prashar, Dean College Development.
