Dev Raj Technical Campus becomes ‘Best Emerging Engineering College of Punjab’
Ferozepur, April 4, 2015: Dev Raj Technical Campus in this border town has been declared as one of the ‘Best Emerging Engineering College of Punjab’ by Worldwide Achievers. In Delhi, 72 colleges from all over India were honoured and Dev Raj Technical Campus was one of them.
Giving this information, Ravi Kant Gupta, Chairman of the colleges said, ours is only the engineering college in Punjab which is providing awareness among the students about 400 small and micro industries at a cost of Rs.25 lakhs apart from giving training in which about 14 lakh pass-out students are attracted towards small jobs.
He said, the college is making the students eligible to earn Rs.15000 to Rs.20000 by joining hands with the unemployed youths in their area or adjoining villages.
Keeping all these factors in view, Dev Raj Technical Campus has been conferred with the distinction of ‘Best Emerging College of Punjab’ by Worldwide Achievers & Persons, said Ravi Gupta.
Present among those on this occasion, Dr.C.P.Thakur MP, Abhivan Bindra, Indian Shooter, Neera Kaushal, Commissioner of Customs and Maninder Jit Singh Bitta, Chairman All India Anti Terrorist Front said, Dev Raj Technical Campus will make the future of our youths more bright.
Gupta expressing his pleasures over the award said, the course available are Welding, Robot Welding ,CNC Cutting so that the students aspirant for going abroad could earn handsome wages. Apart from this, number of six months training and special courses – Rice Mill, Flour Mill, Dal Mill and Cotton Mill and various industrial courses – are also available in the campus.
