DEO inaugurates 44th District Science Exhibition-2015

Exhibitions provie real opportunities for the kids to easily implement the things that they have learn from schools : DEO

Ferozepur, October 23, 2015: Under directions of Punjab State Science Institution Chandigarh and tutelage of District Education Officer (SS), Ferozepur, the 44th District Science Exhibition-2015 was inaugurated today at Dev Samaj Model School.

Jagseer Singh Awa, District Education Officer (SS) was the chief guest of the function.

Giving the details, Rajesh Mehta, District Science Supervisor informed that 125 models have been displayed from different schools of the district of Tehsil, Ferozepur, Zira and Guruahrsahai. In this programme, 200 Bal Vigyani and 100 teachers relating to science subject will participate, he added.

After formal welcome of the chief guest by Sucheta Vohra, Principal, Dev Samaj Model School, the Chief Guest had a round of the exhibition.

Speaking on the occasion, Jagseer Singh Awa appreciated the organizing of Science Exhibition and involvement of students in display of the models.

He said, By organizing such exhibitions in schools. Students get a platform to show what they have learned and what they are good at, as well.

He further said, in an exhibition, students get a chance to apply or do the practical aspect of the things that they havelearned from the classroom. These are real opportunities for the kids to easily implement the things that they have learn from schools.

Apart from others, Pardeep Deora, Dy.DEO, Dr.Rajinder Sharma, Smt.Sunita Rangbulla, Principal were also present.

Those who have special contirbution in making this Science Exhibition successful were Deepak Sharma, Sudhir Sharma, Sumit Galhotra, Lalit Kumar, Inderjit Kalsi, Kapil, Sanjeev Tandon, Ashwani, Dinesh, Kamal Sharma, and Umesh Kumar.
