DC gives Rs.11,000 to Blind Home for use on inmate over self-employment skill development
Ferozepur, January 25, 2024: A programme for specially challenged children was organized at Parmarth Bhawan, by Sarbat Da Bhala Welfare Society, which was presided over by Rajesh Dhiman, Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur as Chief and Dr.Kamal Baghi, owner Baghi Super Specialty Hospital as Guest of Honour.
An exhibition of diya, bags, envelopes, candles made by the specially challenged children was arranged. In this programme, the children from Daran Special School Moga, Muskan Special School Cantt Board, All India Pingalwada Chairtable Society Amritsar, Bhagat Puran Singh School for the Deaf, Harkrishan Public School, Home for the Blind etc. were given a cheque of Rs.11,000 each to use this amount for self-employment skill development.
Dr.Kamal Baghi had also been contributing financial assistance and extending health facilities to these children from time to time.
On this occasion, Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross, Social Activist Vipul Narang, President Shelly Kamboj, Sarbat Da Bhala Welfare Society and Manjit Kaur were present.
