Drug peddler with habit-forming drugs in police net
Ferozepur, October 21, 2020: The Ferozepur police claimed to have arrested one accused on getting the tip-off with habit-forming drugs.
As per the information, the police – CIA staff – working actively on the in-put, put up a ‘naka’ and intercepted Gurjinder Singh alias Jinder Jagdish Singh of Markhai on the outskirts of Mallanwala and on searching recovered 590 habit-forming intoxicant drugs. Chand Gir has been appointed as IO in this case and further investigations are on.
Police arrest youth for making an obscene video viral on social media
Ferozepur, October 21, 2020: A youth was arrested by police after he made an obscene video of a girl viral on social media on internet.
As per the information, the complainant girl – resident of Mudki – used to go to a shop near her house and the alleged accused – Salinder Singh – used to tease her since 2014 and in 2016 when she visited the shop, he forcibly made a video and started blackmailing. Now, once again he forcibly teased her and after making a video viral it on the internet.
Gurpreet Singh IO appointed in this case informed that a case under Section 376, 506 IPC 6 The Prevention of children from sexual offence Act 2012 and further investigations are on. The prima facie it seems that the youth in question first made the obscene video with a girl and then shared it with on internet.
A local social activist meanwhile has appealed to the police to take stringent action under law against the morally degraded accused.
