COVID-19: 24 new positive cases, 3 deaths and 85 recoveries in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, June 14, 2021: The number of Covid-19 positive cases has been fluctuating in the district but today gone down to 24 new cases only with thre deaths and 85 recoveries.
This status can be maintained only with the cooperation of the citizens by following the Covide appropriate behavrior, said a senior health official.
As per the report, 1,92,710 samples were taken in the district, out of which 1,78,870 were tested negative, 13,705 positive, 12,7088recovered, 475 active cases.
With three deaths of 43, 61 and 65 years male in Ferozepur, Mamdot and Zira blocks, the death tally has gone to 441 in the district.
As of now, 28 – three containment and 25 micro containment zones are still under observation of the health department.
The Black Fungus ten cases have been reported in the district, out of which, t, with seven under treatment in this hospitals, 2 cured and one dead. There is no new case during the last four days.
In the vaccination drive, today 797 persons were given Covid vaccine making the total as on date to 1,35,261 persons including the frontline and health workers.
