Contractual employees to formulate new protest strategy on July 15

Ferozepur July 10, 2017 : In the apotheosis of Congress of 100 days old government in Punjab led  by Capt Amarinder Singh has forgotten to make anya reference of its achievement of promises made with the youths, said Ashish Julaha, State Secretary, Contract Employees Action Committee, Punjab.

He said, the Chief Minister is running away from fulfilling the promises made during the elections which are evident from the fact that CM is avoiding to hold a meeting with the employees.

Sajan Ssingh, Chairman  and Imran Bhatt, State President said, the government before coming to power had promised that the contractual employees will be regularized in its first Cabinet meeting but it is very unfortunate that despite assurance twice by OSDs – Gurinder Singh Sodhi, Captain Sandeep Sandhu and Jagdeep Sidhu – nothing has been done.  Even the government failed to have reference in its first 100 days report card.

Giving a warning to the government to face the consequences in the coming Municipal elections, the leaders said, the Action Committee has decided to formulate new protest strategy in its state level meeting to be held at Ludhiana on July 15.
