BSNL workers without wages since seven months

Ferozepur, July 13, 2017: On a call from Sanjha Morcha – with participation of BSNL, SNEA, FNTO, AIGETOA, BSNL MS, Shanta, BSNL ATM, BSNL OA – the BSNL employees sat on dharna in front of the office of General Manager to register their protest for pending genuine demands.

Giving information, R.B.Singh, Ajay Jindal, Tarsem Singh, M.S.Bajwa said, the management of BSNL is not serious about tbeir demands.  The anti-employees policies are ruining the business of BSNL as well as the employees.

Talking about the demands, they said,  the seven months pending wages of the employees since January 2017 should be released immediately, implement the revised pension policy from Jan 1, 2017, extend benefit of retirement to the direct recruiters and lifting the ban on the activities of the trade unions.

Giving a warning they said, it is very difficult to survive without the release of wages on monthly basis. Iin case the genuine demands of the employees are not accepted, the employees will be compelled to intensify their agitation.
