Ferozepur, June 30, 2015: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited – an Indian state-owned telecommunications company – now known a life line of people – have launched various new and promotional schemes for its valuable customers.
Addressing the Press Confeference, A.K.Dubey, General Manager, Telecom Ferozepur said, the new promotional schemes to popularize to adopt BSNL operator have been launched.
The free national roaming started from June 15, is like a dream of ‘one nation one number’ coming true, said Dubey.
He further said, the other new schemes launched are unlimited free call from BSNL land line between 9 am to 7 am, promotional TOP Ups for full talk time from Rs.250 to Rs.399 w.e.f. 27.6.2015 for 90 days, Ramzan Festival Season for full talk value of 786 and frree 393 on-net and 393 off-net SM with validity of 30 days, friend and family for mobile customer in per sec plan and per min plan, BSNL offer free gift of 50MB Data, Wide Range of DATA STVs, FTTH facility – a fibre based internet facility to the HOME and Customer Support Services.
GMT said, Ferzepur SSA is the biggest SSA of Pujab Circle comprising of 5 Revenue Districts covering about 23% of Punjab area. BSNL Ferozepur is having 265 landline telephone exchanges along with 486 2G BTS’s and 127 3G BTS’s to impart telecom services in the circle. There are total 71664 landline connections and about 6.5 lakhs mobile connections working in this circle.
In reply to the queries, GMT said, there was a drastic drop in land line connections to the extent of 7 to 8%. Though immediate additions are not possible but with the extending of various facilities, positive results are expected as we have started getting new customers to generate more revenue.
BSNL has the lowest mobile call rate than other operators and with available of lease line facility with it for corporate sector.
With regard to the signal range along with border than other operators, Dubey said, we strictly go by the instructions of the Govt. of India to provide the restricted range.
With regard to reviving of Rs.149 plan to enjoy unlimited call within the BSNL landline circle, he said, presently this facility is being enjoyed by the customer who have already opted and we will forward this request to reintroduce to add more landline customers.
