BSF seizures heroin, pistol, mobile, SIM cards from near Punjab Border

Ferozepur, April 14, 2021:  Alert Border Security Force troops on Wednesday apprehended one Indian National and seized 8 packets suspected to be Heroin (weighing  approximately 6.520 KGs) and 1 Plastic Bottle filled with suspected to be liquor, 1 Mobile Phone and 2 SIM Cards in the area of responsibility of 52 Bn BSF, Abohar Sector.

Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again foiled the attempt of Anti- National Elements to push consignment of contraband items into India.

During the year 2021, BSF has effected seizures on Punjab Border – heroin 198.095 kg heroin including today’s seiure, 3 Indian Border Crosser Apprehended , 11 Pak Intruder , 2 Pak intruder killed, 6 Weapons (Different Types), 8Magazine (Different Types),146 Ammunition(Various Calibres, and 3 Pak Mobile Phones including today’s seizures.
