BSF seizes heroin from BOP JN Mohammad near Indo-Pak border
Ferozepur October 14, 2017: The recovery of heroin from Indo-Pak border has decreased as compared to the last three years with the constant vigil of BSF and with the recovery of contrabands from time to time, there is a check on the demand and supply of this material in the border towns.
The Border Security Force – BSF today seized another consignment of heroin in four packets of 1 kg each from JN Mohammad BOP during the search operation on getting a secret information.
Giving this information, Rajpurohit DIG BSF informed that a secret information was received that four packets of heroin of one kg each having the international value of Rs.20 crore has been dispatched by the smugglers and vigil in the spotted area was intensified. During the search operation, 4 kg heroin was recovered.
He further said further investigations are on to know the smuggler's contacts on the Indian side to completely crack the supply lines.
